Australian Lutheran College provides training for our LCA/NZ pastors, school teachers (for Christian studies training), lay workers and anyone interested in theological study. They have just launched their annual appeal. We thought you might like to hear more about what our college does and the ways you can support their on going contribution to the wider church.

Last week Pastor Ben interviewed Pastor David Kuss about his work in central Australia and other Indigenous communities. The interview formed part of the St Mark's school chapel service on Friday. It finished with Pastor David praying the Lord's Prayer and giving a blessing in Arrernte which we wanted to share with you. Thanks Pastor Dave! ‘All this is from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation’ (2 Cor 5:18)

2020 marks the 20th anniversary of the People’s Walk for Reconciliation in the year 2000 when people came together to walk on bridges and roads across Australia to show their support for a more reconciled Australia.

Our students were asked to decorate one foot using symbols in the official National Reconciliation Week artwork, and using colours of Australia’s flora and fauna and then decorate the other foot with their hopes and dreams for a reconciled Australia - Our Year 1D in action decorating their feet!
